Arrival and hiking around chitlang village
Upon arrival at Chitlang village, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative/tour guide. From there, the journey begins with a refreshing nature walk to Saatdhara, a serene natural site known as the “Seven Springs,” named after its naturally flowing spring water sources scattered across the area.
After enjoying the peaceful surroundings of Saatdhara, the walk continues through the traditional village trails of Chitlang, offering glimpses of local lifestyle and culture. Along the way, you will visit the sacred Sochanda Bhairab Temple, an important spiritual site dedicated to Lord Bhairab. The temple stands as a reflection of the region’s rich cultural heritage and deep-rooted religious traditions.
After completing the sightseeing of all the mentioned places, we will drive towards Tistung Resort.

Explore Kunchhal Basti & Bajrabarahi Temple and drive to Markhu
Early in the morning, wake up and get refreshed. Before breakfast, we begin our hiking journey to Kunchhal Basti and Bajrabarahi Temple.
Experience a refreshing hiking journey through the peaceful hills and traditional villages of Tistung. Continue towards Kunchhal Basti and the Bajrabarahi Temple, enjoying a perfect blend of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and spiritual experience.
After completing the hike, we return back to the resort where breakfast will be served.

Our next destination is the beautiful Indra Sarobar (Kulekhani Lake). After breakfast, drive to the famous Chitlang Goat Cheese Factory and experience the taste of superb handmade cheese prepared by skilled locals. Continue the scenic drive downhill towards the beautiful Markhu Village.
Enjoy a delicious lunch featuring fresh local fish beside the tranquil Indra Sarobar (Kulekhani Lake). Spend some relaxing time boating on the peaceful lake while capturing the surrounding natural beauty and panoramic views.
Departure
Later in the afternoon, drive back to Kathmandu with wonderful memories of the countryside experience.
